Juvéderm Ultra Plus
A great natural feeling soft tissue filler manufactured by Allergan, the same company that makes Botox Cosmetic. Juvéderm Ultra Plus improves volume and helps with to finesse definition to the lips, primarily at the vermillion border. Meticulous technique also help increase vertical lip height. It can also be used by our injectors to create a Cupid’s Bow or “M” at the top of the lips. Juvederm Ultra Plus can last from 6 to 9 months and offers significant improvement in one session. Juvéderm Ultra Plus can add volume to thin, fading lips.
Restylane Kysse
Another great lip filler in our toolbox is from the Restylane family of fillers. Kysse is a very smooth, soft and pliable gel injectable, made from a mixture of Hyaluronic Acid particles. Kysse can minimal volume to the lips, but does improve the hydration of lips and can be helpful is smoothing out fine lines around the lips, including "smokers lines". Aspirin and Ibuprofen close to the time of the injections. You may not be a candidate for fillers if you have certain blood disorders that preclude you to excessive bleeding, bruising or clotting.

Potential patients are invited to consult with our board-certified physicians who can perform a detailed examination and full facial assessment to give you their honest recommendations.
This can take 15 to 30 minutes and allows us to review the balance of your face and how lip fillers would affect it. You can also choose to have your consultation and injections performed at the same time which will require about 45 minutes to 1 hour in the Body by Ravi Plastic Surgery and Aesthetics’ office. At this time, the provider will get to know the patient and their aesthetic needs. A brief examination of the lips and facial tissue will be performed. Dr. Gopathi and Dr. Ravi will discuss all of the lip enhancement options in detail, showing photographs of their recent patients who underwent a similar procedure.
After answering any remaining questions, the surgeon will create a personalized lip augmentation treatment plan. Many of the treatments and techniques can be performed during the same, initial visit. This includes the use of Botox Cosmetic or other dermal fillers for facial contouring procedures, such as Voluma for cheek contouring and Juvéderm for nasolabial folds.. During the consultation appointment, the exact cost of treatment will be determined. Many products contain Hyaluronic Acid (HA), a naturally occurring substance that encourages the production of collagen. The benefits from a soft tissue filler in the lips can last for up to one year.
